Joseph Wright’s Work Experience
Joseph Wright was born and raised in the Tuscaloosa area. He worked for many years with an International Society of Arboriculture(ISA) Certified Arborist in Tuscaloosa starting in August of 2012. After a couple of years he was sent by that Arborist up to an Arbormaster training course at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. There he learned how to safely climb trees to expand his growing skills working with trees. In 2016 Joseph accepted a position at The University of Alabama Arboretum. While working there he got his ISA Certification and honed his skills in working with the many trees on the grounds at the UA Arboretum. In spring of 2018 Joseph accepted a position in western Massachusetts to work under a well established Certified Arborist as one of their crew leaders. He ran a bucket truck crew and established himself as the main crew leader for tree pruning, cabling, and preservation. In 2021 Joseph moved around New England and worked for a couple of other companies in New Hampshire and Vermont as a climbing crew leader. On the day before Christmas in 2021 Joseph moved back home to Tuscaloosa, AL. And at last, in January 2022 Druid City Arborists, LLC was created.
