Rubbing Branches

Branches that rub against one another can cause wounds that lead to outright failure or can allow easy access to the inner parts of the tree by fungi, bacteria, and insects. Identifying the right branches to prune and making the proper pruning cuts takes time and skill. Having a skilled climber with the knowledge and skills to prune properly is important for the long term health of our trees.

Druid City Arborists made the proper selection and pruning cut so that this tree has a chance to recover.
